Terms of Use
Effective Date: September 5, 2026
Last Updated: September 5, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of careerlucid.com (the “Website”) and the services, information, materials, and resources made available by CareerLucid.
By accessing or using the Website, following a CareerLucid service link, or purchasing a CareerLucid service through an authorized third-party platform, you agree to these Terms to the extent applicable to your use.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Website or purchase CareerLucid services.
CareerLucid is the public service brand presented on this Website.
1. About CareerLucid
CareerLucid provides professional career-support services that may include CV and resume development, career positioning, role targeting, LinkedIn recommendations, professional-profile guidance, job-search readiness, opportunity research, application planning, and related career-strategy materials.
The specific scope of any purchased service is determined by the applicable CareerLucid service description, package, order requirements, buyer instructions, and agreed order terms presented through the authorized transaction platform.
CareerLucid services are designed to support professional presentation and job-search decision-making. They do not replace the client’s own judgment and do not guarantee any particular employment outcome.
2. Website Purpose
The Website provides information about CareerLucid, its methodology, service structure, sample outputs, educational content, and current pathways for obtaining services.
The Website itself does not currently operate as an independent checkout or payment-processing platform.
During the current service phase, CareerLucid directs customers to its authorized Fiverr service page for current package information, ordering, payment, and order-related communication.
Website content may change as CareerLucid services, processes, packages, or platform arrangements evolve.
3. Fiverr and Third-Party Ordering
CareerLucid currently uses Fiverr as its primary transaction and order-management platform.
When you follow a CareerLucid link to Fiverr, you are entering a third-party platform governed by Fiverr’s own terms, payment rules, dispute procedures, privacy practices, and marketplace policies.
Purchases made through Fiverr are also subject to the order terms and platform rules that apply through Fiverr.
CareerLucid does not independently control Fiverr’s payment processing, platform availability, buyer account status, refunds processed by Fiverr, dispute mechanisms, fees, or technical systems.
Where there is a conflict between general Website information and the specific package or order terms shown on the authorized Fiverr service at the time of purchase, the applicable order terms on Fiverr will govern the purchased scope unless otherwise agreed through the platform.
4. Service Scope
CareerLucid provides only the services included in the applicable purchased package or otherwise agreed within the authorized order.
The exact deliverables may vary depending on the service package, available client evidence, target scope, role complexity, and other relevant requirements.
CareerLucid may organize or refine information supplied by the client, prioritize career evidence, recommend positioning, and produce documents or guidance based on the available evidence and agreed target.
CareerLucid is not required to perform services that fall outside the purchased scope unless an additional service or scope adjustment is agreed.
5. Client Information and Evidence
CareerLucid relies substantially on the information and documents supplied or authorized by the client.
You agree to provide information that is accurate, complete to the best of your knowledge, and reasonably relevant to the service requested.
This may include employment history, education, certifications, achievements, metrics, responsibilities, skills, target roles, location preferences, professional links, or other career-related information.
You should not intentionally provide false, misleading, fabricated, plagiarized, or unauthorized information.
CareerLucid may identify inconsistencies, missing information, or material conflicts and may request clarification where reasonably necessary.
6. No Fabrication of Career Facts
CareerLucid follows an evidence-led approach.
CareerLucid does not intentionally invent unsupported employment history, academic qualifications, certifications, achievements, metrics, job titles, responsibilities, licenses, languages, or other material career facts and present them as verified client facts.
CareerLucid may improve phrasing, structure, prioritization, presentation, and positioning based on evidence supplied or authorized by the client.
Where information cannot reasonably be supported, CareerLucid may exclude it, qualify it, or request clarification.
7. Client Review Responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing final or proposed deliverables before using them in an application, profile, submission, or other professional context.
You should confirm that names, dates, qualifications, employers, job titles, achievements, contact details, locations, eligibility information, and other factual statements remain accurate.
CareerLucid may perform quality-control checks, but the client remains the ultimate source of personal career facts.
You should notify CareerLucid through the applicable order channel if you identify a factual error or material discrepancy within the applicable service or revision period.
8. CV, ATS, and Career Positioning
CareerLucid may structure CVs and related materials using generally accepted ATS-conscious and professional-document practices.
However, Applicant Tracking Systems differ by employer, vendor, configuration, geography, and implementation.
CareerLucid therefore does not guarantee that a CV will receive a particular ATS score, ranking, keyword match percentage, recruiter response, interview invitation, or hiring decision.
Terms such as “ATS-ready,” “ATS-conscious,” or similar descriptions refer to formatting and content practices intended to improve compatibility and professional clarity, not to guaranteed automated-system outcomes.
9. Job Search and Opportunity Research
CareerLucid may identify, assess, organize, or present publicly available employment opportunities as part of certain services.
Job vacancies are controlled by third parties and may change or close without notice.
CareerLucid does not guarantee that a listed vacancy remains open after research is completed, that the employer will accept an application, that all eligibility criteria have been identified, or that the client will be shortlisted, interviewed, or hired.
Clients remain responsible for reviewing the final vacancy posting and employer requirements before applying.
CareerLucid does not act as the employer, recruiter, employment agency, immigration authority, or hiring decision-maker for third-party roles unless explicitly stated otherwise.
10. Citizenship, Residence, and Work Eligibility
CareerLucid may consider client-supplied citizenship, nationality, residence, work-authorization, or location information when relevant to role targeting or opportunity screening.
This information is used for career-strategy purposes only.
CareerLucid does not provide immigration, visa, residency, work-permit, citizenship, or legal advice.
Eligibility rules can change and may depend on circumstances not available to CareerLucid.
Clients are responsible for confirming their legal eligibility to work or relocate with the employer or appropriate authority.
11. LinkedIn, Email, and Other Accounts
CareerLucid may provide recommendations relating to LinkedIn, professional email presentation, job-search platforms, or other professional accounts.
Unless specifically agreed otherwise, CareerLucid operates on a client-owned implementation model.
CareerLucid does not require or request passwords, one-time passwords, recovery codes, authentication tokens, or other sensitive account credentials for standard service delivery.
You remain responsible for making changes inside your own accounts and for complying with the applicable platform’s terms.
12. AI-Assisted and Software-Assisted Work
CareerLucid may use AI-assisted, software-assisted, automated, or structured workflow tools to support research, drafting, formatting, analysis, quality control, or document production.
Such tools are used as part of the service process and do not eliminate CareerLucid’s responsibility for the delivered work.
CareerLucid applies evidence controls intended to prevent unsupported career information from being introduced as fact.
Use of AI-assisted tools does not constitute a guarantee that any output is error-free, and clients remain responsible for reviewing personal factual information before use.
13. Revisions
Revision rights are determined by the specific service package and order terms applicable at the time of purchase.
A revision generally means a reasonable modification of delivered work within the original agreed scope.
A revision does not automatically include a completely new career target, a new industry, a new geographic market, materially different source information, new documents supplied after completion, or a substantial change in the original brief.
Such changes may require a new order, additional service, or scope adjustment.
14. Delivery Timing
CareerLucid aims to deliver services within the timeframe stated in the applicable order.
Delivery time may depend on the client providing required information, responding to necessary clarification requests, approving applicable review stages, or resolving material information conflicts.
Third-party platform outages, technical failures, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond CareerLucid’s reasonable control may affect delivery.
Where Fiverr is used, platform-specific delivery and extension mechanisms may also apply.
15. Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds
Payments for CareerLucid services currently purchased through Fiverr are processed by Fiverr.
Payment methods, platform fees, cancellations, order completion, disputes, and refunds are therefore subject to Fiverr’s applicable rules and procedures.
CareerLucid does not independently store or process payment-card details through the Website.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove any statutory consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Intellectual Property
The CareerLucid Website, branding, service descriptions, proprietary frameworks, workflows, methodologies, layouts, templates, written materials, graphics, and original Website content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Except where expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell, license, distribute, reverse engineer, commercially exploit, or create substantially derivative commercial products from CareerLucid proprietary materials.
CareerLucid retains ownership of its underlying systems, processes, templates, methodologies, frameworks, and reusable intellectual property.
17. Client Deliverables
Subject to full payment and applicable order terms, clients may use final CareerLucid deliverables prepared specifically for them for their own personal and professional career purposes.
This normally includes using CVs, application materials, professional-profile text, job-search planning materials, and related deliverables for employment search and professional advancement.
Receiving a deliverable does not transfer ownership of CareerLucid’s underlying frameworks, internal methods, reusable templates, operating systems, or proprietary production logic.
Clients may edit their own final career documents after delivery.
18. Client-Owned Materials
You retain ownership of documents, career information, original text, files, and other materials you provide to CareerLucid, subject to any rights owned by third parties.
By supplying such materials, you authorize CareerLucid to use, reproduce, reorganize, transform, analyze, and process them only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, perform quality control, resolve order issues, and meet legitimate operational or legal requirements.
You represent that you have the right to provide the materials you submit.
19. Portfolio Samples
CareerLucid may display sample deliverables on the Website to demonstrate service structure, quality, and output design.
Public samples may use synthetic, fictional, or properly anonymized information.
Where samples are synthetic, CareerLucid intends to label them accordingly.
A synthetic sample should not be interpreted as evidence that the fictional person, employer, vacancy, achievement, or outcome exists.
CareerLucid does not intentionally present fictional samples as verified customer success stories.
20. Testimonials and Outcomes
CareerLucid does not guarantee employment, promotion, salary increases, interviews, job offers, recruiter responses, ATS rankings, application conversion rates, or any other specific career outcome.
Employment decisions are controlled by employers, recruiters, hiring managers, screening systems, labor-market conditions, and other factors outside CareerLucid’s control.
Any future testimonial or customer feedback displayed by CareerLucid should reflect the relevant customer’s actual experience and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that another client will achieve the same result.
21. Educational Content
Blog articles, guides, FAQs, Website content, and general CareerLucid materials are provided for informational and educational purposes.
They are not individualized legal, tax, financial, immigration, employment-law, recruitment-agency, or regulatory advice.
General information may not apply to your particular jurisdiction, employer, profession, or circumstances.
You should obtain qualified professional advice where appropriate.
22. Third-Party Links and Resources
The Website or CareerLucid deliverables may contain links to Fiverr, LinkedIn, employers, job boards, vacancy pages, research sources, or other third-party websites.
CareerLucid does not control these third parties and is not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, privacy practices, security, products, services, or terms.
A link does not necessarily constitute endorsement.
You access third-party resources at your own discretion and subject to the third party’s own terms.
23. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Website or CareerLucid services to engage in unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, deceptive, or harmful activity.
You must not attempt to interfere with Website security, gain unauthorized access to systems, scrape or extract proprietary content at scale, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, misuse third-party information, or use CareerLucid deliverables to support fabricated professional credentials or fraudulent applications.
CareerLucid may decline or discontinue work where a request would require material deception, unlawful conduct, or misuse of another person’s information.
24. Website Availability
CareerLucid aims to keep the Website available and accurate but does not guarantee uninterrupted access.
The Website may temporarily become unavailable because of maintenance, updates, hosting issues, security actions, third-party failures, or other technical circumstances.
CareerLucid may change, suspend, remove, or restructure Website features, pages, services, or content without guaranteeing permanent availability of any particular page.
25. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Website and general informational content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
CareerLucid does not warrant that the Website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or suitable for every user’s circumstances.
Professional services are provided with reasonable care within the agreed scope, but CareerLucid does not warrant or guarantee a particular employment, recruitment, financial, or career outcome.
Nothing in this section excludes any warranty or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.
26. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CareerLucid will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or speculative losses arising from use of the Website or services, including lost employment opportunities, lost income, lost profits, recruiter decisions, employer decisions, third-party platform actions, or reliance on outdated third-party vacancy information.
CareerLucid is not responsible for decisions made by employers, recruiters, job boards, ATS providers, LinkedIn, Fiverr, immigration authorities, or other third parties.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded or limited.
27. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or costs arising from your unlawful use of the Website or services, your intentional submission of false or unauthorized information, your infringement of third-party rights, or your material breach of these Terms.
This provision does not apply where prohibited by applicable consumer law.
28. Refusal or Termination of Service
CareerLucid may refuse, suspend, or discontinue a service where reasonably necessary because of abusive conduct, unlawful requests, fraudulent information, material misrepresentation, security concerns, repeated failure to provide necessary information, misuse of the service, or violation of applicable platform rules.
Where an order is processed through Fiverr, any cancellation or dispute action will also be subject to applicable Fiverr procedures.
29. Privacy
CareerLucid’s handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy published on this Website.
The Privacy Policy forms an important part of the Website’s transparency framework and should be read together with these Terms.
30. Changes to These Terms
CareerLucid may update these Terms as the Website, service model, transaction platform, technology, legal requirements, or operating practices change.
The Last Updated date at the top of this page will indicate when the Terms were most recently revised.
Changes apply prospectively from the date they are published unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Your continued use of the Website after updated Terms are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
31. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply where legally permitted.
32. No Waiver
A failure by CareerLucid to enforce a provision of these Terms on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce that provision or another provision later.
33. Entire Agreement for Website Use
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable order-specific terms, constitute the general agreement governing use of the CareerLucid Website.
For purchased services, the specific Fiverr order, package description, buyer requirements, and applicable platform terms may form additional parts of the contractual relationship.
34. Governing Law and Disputes
Applicable consumer-protection and mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
Any dispute relating to CareerLucid should first be raised through the communication channel applicable to the relevant interaction or order so that the matter can be reviewed and, where possible, resolved informally.
Where the transaction occurs through Fiverr, Fiverr’s applicable dispute-resolution procedures may also apply.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a user from exercising rights available under mandatory applicable law or using a competent court or authority where legally entitled to do so.
