Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 5, 2026
Last Updated: September 5, 2026
CareerLucid respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly, transparently, and only for legitimate purposes connected with this website and the CareerLucid service.
This Privacy Policy explains what information CareerLucid may collect, how it may be used, when it may be shared, how long it may be retained, and the choices and rights that may be available to you.
This policy applies to careerlucid.com (the “Website”) and to personal information processed by CareerLucid in connection with CareerLucid career-positioning, CV-development, job-search-readiness, and related professional-support services.
CareerLucid is the public service brand used on this Website. Where a third-party platform or service provider processes information independently under its own terms and privacy policy, that provider is responsible for its own processing activities.
1. Information We May Collect
CareerLucid may process information that you provide directly or that is reasonably necessary to provide the service you request.
Website information
When you visit the Website, the hosting, security, caching, or technical infrastructure supporting the Website may automatically process limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, requested pages, timestamps, and technical logs.
This information is generally used for website operation, security, troubleshooting, performance, abuse prevention, and technical administration.
Information provided through Fiverr
During Phase 1, current package details, ordering, payment, and order-related communication are handled through the exact CareerLucid Fiverr Gig.
If you place an order through Fiverr, CareerLucid may receive information that you submit through the Fiverr order and messaging process, including your name or username, contact information where provided, questionnaire responses, uploaded documents, messages, and other information necessary to complete the service.
Fiverr processes account, payment, platform, and transaction information under its own terms and privacy practices. CareerLucid does not directly process your payment-card information through this Website.
Career and professional information
Depending on the service, CareerLucid may process career-related information including your CV or resume, employment history, education, qualifications, certifications, skills, achievements, professional summary, target roles, target industries, target countries, employer preferences, career restrictions, languages, LinkedIn information, professional email information, and other professional evidence that you authorize CareerLucid to use.
Where relevant to opportunity screening or the scope you requested, CareerLucid may also process current residence, citizenship or nationality information, or work-eligibility context supplied by you. Such information is used only for the relevant service purpose and does not constitute immigration or work-permit advice.
Files and generated deliverables
CareerLucid may create and process working documents and final deliverables derived from your authorized information, including Master and Targeted CVs, career-positioning materials, LinkedIn recommendations, professional-email recommendations, opportunity reports, trackers, action plans, implementation guides, and related quality-control records.
2. Information You Should Not Provide
CareerLucid does not need your account passwords, one-time passwords (OTPs), recovery codes, authentication tokens, banking passwords, or other login credentials in order to provide the standard service.
Please do not provide such information.
CareerLucid’s normal service model is designed around client-owned implementation. We may recommend changes to LinkedIn, email, job-search channels, or other professional accounts, but you remain responsible for making those changes inside your own accounts.
You should also avoid providing unnecessary highly sensitive personal information that is unrelated to the career service you ordered.
3. How We Use Personal Information
CareerLucid may use personal information to evaluate and fulfill an order, review authorized career evidence, clarify target scope where necessary, prepare CV and career-positioning materials, research and evaluate relevant job opportunities, prepare implementation guidance, communicate about the service, perform factual and quality-control checks, maintain service security and integrity, resolve support or order issues, and comply with applicable legal or platform obligations.
CareerLucid uses supplied information only within the reasonably necessary scope of the requested service.
We do not intentionally invent unsupported career facts or treat unverified assumptions as client evidence.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable privacy law requires a legal basis, CareerLucid may process personal information because processing is necessary to provide a service you requested or perform a contract with you, because you have provided consent, because CareerLucid has a legitimate interest in operating and protecting the Website and delivering the service responsibly, or because processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
The applicable basis may depend on the type of information and the circumstances in which it is processed.
5. Fiverr and Third-Party Platforms
CareerLucid currently uses Fiverr as the Phase 1 transaction and order-management platform.
When you follow a CareerLucid link to Fiverr, you leave the CareerLucid Website and enter a third-party platform. Fiverr may independently collect and process information relating to your account, messages, payment, transaction, browsing activity, cookies, and platform usage.
CareerLucid does not control Fiverr’s independent privacy practices. You should review Fiverr’s privacy information before using its platform.
CareerLucid does not use the Website to move Fiverr-originated customers outside Fiverr for order communication or payment where doing so would conflict with applicable Fiverr rules.
6. Service Providers and Technical Infrastructure
CareerLucid may rely on third-party providers that support website hosting, domain infrastructure, security, caching, document processing, storage, productivity, communications, research, or other operational functions.
These providers may process limited information where reasonably necessary to provide their services.
CareerLucid seeks to limit such processing to legitimate operational purposes and does not authorize service providers to use CareerLucid client information for unrelated purposes on CareerLucid’s behalf.
Because providers may operate infrastructure in different countries, information may be processed or stored outside your country of residence.
7. AI-Assisted and Software-Assisted Processing
CareerLucid may use software-assisted or AI-assisted tools as part of internal analysis, drafting, document preparation, research support, formatting, quality control, or workflow execution.
Where such tools are used, CareerLucid remains responsible for the service output and applies evidence controls designed to prevent unsupported career facts from being presented as client facts.
CareerLucid does not rely on a solely automated process to make legal, employment, immigration, or other decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects for you.
CareerLucid does not guarantee that any employer, recruiter, ATS platform, or other third party will make a particular decision based on CareerLucid materials.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Website may use cookies or similar technologies that are technically necessary for WordPress, website security, caching, performance, session management, or administrative functionality.
CareerLucid does not currently use the Website as an advertising-tracking platform and does not sell visitor information for behavioral advertising.
If CareerLucid later introduces non-essential analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies that require consent under applicable law, the Website’s cookie practices and consent controls will be updated accordingly.
9. Analytics and Technical Logs
CareerLucid or its hosting and technical providers may process aggregated or technical usage information to understand site performance, identify errors, protect the Website, and improve usability.
Technical logs may contain information such as IP addresses, request timestamps, browser information, or requested URLs.
CareerLucid does not use technical logs to construct unnecessary personal profiles of Website visitors.
10. How We Share Information
CareerLucid does not sell personal information.
Personal information may be disclosed only where reasonably necessary to service providers supporting CareerLucid operations, to Fiverr where the interaction occurs through Fiverr, where you direct or authorize the disclosure, where required by law or a valid legal process, where reasonably necessary to protect users, CareerLucid, or others from fraud, abuse, security threats, or unlawful activity, or as part of a legitimate restructuring or transfer of the CareerLucid operation subject to appropriate safeguards.
CareerLucid does not publish client CVs, career evidence, order information, or private client files as public portfolio material without appropriate authorization.
11. Portfolio and Sample Materials
The CareerLucid Website may display portfolio demonstrations to explain the structure and quality of CareerLucid outputs.
Public samples are intended to use synthetic, fictional, or properly anonymized information and should be labelled accurately.
CareerLucid does not intentionally present a fictional demonstration as a real paid-client case, fabricate testimonials or hiring outcomes, or expose client-private information as portfolio content without appropriate authorization.
12. Data Accuracy and Client Responsibility
CareerLucid relies on the information and evidence supplied or authorized by the client.
You are responsible for providing information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and for reviewing factual content presented to you for confirmation where the workflow provides for such review.
CareerLucid may identify inconsistencies or request clarification, but CareerLucid is not responsible for verifying every personal fact against independent government, employer, educational, or third-party records unless specifically stated.
13. Data Retention
CareerLucid retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including service delivery, quality control, order support, dispute handling, security, legal compliance, and legitimate business-record requirements.
Different categories of information may be retained for different periods.
Information held independently by Fiverr or other third-party platforms is subject to those providers’ own retention practices.
When information is no longer reasonably required, CareerLucid may delete, securely dispose of, or anonymize it, subject to legal, technical, backup, or legitimate record-keeping requirements.
14. Data Security
CareerLucid uses reasonable administrative, technical, and workflow safeguards intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, accidental loss, inappropriate disclosure, alteration, or misuse.
The CareerLucid workflow is designed to avoid requiring client account credentials, passwords, OTPs, or recovery information for normal service delivery.
However, no website, storage system, electronic transmission, or third-party platform can guarantee absolute security.
You should protect your own devices, Fiverr account, email account, LinkedIn account, and downloaded CareerLucid files using appropriate security practices.
15. International Data Processing
CareerLucid is accessible internationally, and some of the technology and service providers supporting the Website or CareerLucid workflow may operate in multiple jurisdictions.
As a result, personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries different from your country of residence.
Where required, CareerLucid seeks to rely on appropriate contractual, technical, organizational, or legal safeguards for such processing.
16. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including:
- requesting access to personal information CareerLucid holds about you;
- requesting correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- requesting deletion of information where applicable;
- requesting restriction of certain processing;
- objecting to certain processing based on legitimate interests;
- requesting portability of information where applicable;
- withdrawing consent where processing is based on consent; and
- submitting a complaint to an applicable data-protection authority.
These rights are not absolute and may be subject to legal exceptions, identity verification, platform restrictions, or legitimate record-retention requirements.
CareerLucid will not discriminate against you for making a legitimate privacy request.
17. Requests to Delete or Correct CareerLucid Data
If you want CareerLucid to correct or delete information maintained directly by CareerLucid, you may submit a privacy request using the contact information below.
CareerLucid can address only information under its own control.
If information is held by Fiverr or another independent provider, you may also need to contact that provider directly.
CareerLucid may request reasonable information to confirm your identity before acting on a privacy request.
18. Third-Party Links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites, job listings, employers, LinkedIn, Fiverr, or other external resources.
CareerLucid is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, availability, content, or data handling of third-party websites.
Following an external link is your choice, and the third party’s own terms and privacy policy will apply.
19. Employment and Opportunity Research
CareerLucid may research publicly available job vacancies and related employer information as part of opportunity-intelligence services.
CareerLucid does not guarantee the continued availability, accuracy, legitimacy, hiring status, eligibility requirements, or outcome of any third-party vacancy.
CareerLucid does not require access to a client’s employer or job-platform account to perform the standard opportunity-research workflow.
20. No Sale of Personal Information
CareerLucid does not sell client or Website-visitor personal information.
CareerLucid also does not rent private client files to advertisers or data brokers.
If CareerLucid’s business model changes materially in a way that affects these practices, this Privacy Policy will be updated before the relevant processing is introduced where required.
21. Children’s Privacy
CareerLucid services and this Website are intended primarily for adults and professional job seekers.
CareerLucid does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 18 for standard commercial service delivery.
If CareerLucid learns that personal information from a child has been collected in circumstances where it should not have been, reasonable steps may be taken to delete it.
22. Changes to This Privacy Policy
CareerLucid may update this Privacy Policy when the Website, service model, legal requirements, technology, service providers, or data-processing practices change.
Material changes will be reflected by updating the Last Updated date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by providing additional notice.
You should review this policy periodically if you continue using the Website or CareerLucid services.
